The COXREELS SG17WT-150 is a spring-driven welding gas hose reel from the SGW Series, designed to handle T-grade oxy-acetylene and welding gas hose in demanding trade environments. Built around a 1/4 inch ID hose capacity with a 50 ft hose length, it features CNC robotically spun and ribbed steel discs with rolled edges for structural integrity and hose protection. The external 90-degree full-flow dual-ported brass swivel with Viton seals allows both inlet and outlet connections from the same side of the reel, eliminating the need to dismount the unit for line access. Licensed welding and gas service professionals are the primary installers of this reel in fixed and mobile service setups.
The SG17WT-150 is suited for service vehicles, tool benches, vertical walls, beams, vehicle lift systems, and machine tool stations where welding gas hose management is required in tight or confined spaces. The two-bolt side-mount pattern allows quick attachment and detachment from any vertical flat surface, making it appropriate for both permanent shop installations and temporary field setups. The multi-position guide arm rotates to six distinct positions to direct hose routing as the application demands.
Designed for use with T-grade welding hose and oxy-acetylene gas systems as part of the COXREELS SGW Series side-mount spring-driven reel platform.
Installation should be performed by a qualified welding equipment technician or licensed gas service professional familiar with applicable codes. Shut off all gas supply and depressurize the hose completely before mounting, connecting, or servicing this reel. The two-bolt mounting pattern requires a secure vertical flat surface capable of supporting the reel weight and hose load under tension. Consult applicable NFPA and local gas codes for welding hose routing and connection requirements.
