The COXREELS SG17-L350 is a spring-driven hose reel from the SG Series, engineered for air, water, oil, and grease service in demanding trade environments. Built around a side-mount design for vertical flat surfaces, this reel features a machined brass 90-degree full-flow NPT swivel, a lubricated cartridge-style motor, and CNC robotically spun ribbed steel discs with rolled edges. The adjustable six-position guide arm and roller assembly deliver consistent hose control in confined spaces. At 40 pounds, this is a heavy-duty unit suited for service vehicles, shop tool benches, wall or beam mounts, and vehicle lift systems. Installation and removal rely on a simple two-bolt mounting pattern.
The SG17-L350 is designed for installations where space is limited but reliable hose retraction is essential. Common deployment locations include service trucks, machine tool stations, vertical wall mounts, cabinet enclosures, and vehicle lift bays. The reel handles air, water, oil, and grease lines, making it a versatile choice for HVAC technicians, automotive service pros, and industrial maintenance crews who need a dependable retractable hose station without a large footprint.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-install option for spring-driven side-mount hose reel applications handling air, water, oil, or grease lines with 3/8 inch ID hose up to 50 feet in length.
Installation is performed by qualified service technicians using standard hand tools and a two-bolt mounting pattern on any vertical flat surface. Depressurize and de-energize the hose line completely before mounting or servicing the reel. The guide arm position is adjusted with a standard open-end wrench across six detent positions. Verify that the supply line fittings and NPT connections are thread-sealed and torqued to the fitting manufacturer's specifications before returning the line to service.
