The COXREELS MPL-N-440 is a spring-driven hose reel from the SH Series, built for demanding trade applications where reliable hose management is essential. The reel features a solid one-piece steel base with a single pedestal design and the proprietary Super Hub dual axle support system, which reduces vibration and improves structural integrity during operation. The larger SH Series chassis accommodates longer hose lengths and larger hose diameters compared to standard compact reels. A CPC powder coat finish resists chipping and rust for long service life in harsh environments. This reel is installed by industrial service techs, fleet maintenance crews, and facility maintenance professionals.
The MPL-N-440 is suited for use in shops, fleet service bays, manufacturing facilities, and mobile service vehicles. The multi-position guide arm adjusts to support wall, floor, ceiling, and vehicle mounting configurations, making it adaptable to a wide range of fixed and mobile installations. The reel handles a 1/2 inch ID, 13/16 inch OD hose at 35 feet in length. It is appropriate for applications requiring a spring-retract mechanism for automatic hose retrieval.
Designed as an OEM-style spring-driven hose reel replacement or new installation unit for 1/2 inch ID hose applications in industrial and service environments.
Installation should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with hose reel mounting requirements and applicable facility or vehicle safety standards. Disconnect and depressurize the supply line before mounting or servicing the reel. Ensure the mounting surface can support the weight of the reel plus a fully loaded hose. Follow all applicable OSHA and facility guidelines when mounting to vehicles or overhead structures.
