The COXREELS MP-N-450 is a spring-driven hose reel in the SH Series, designed for demanding trade applications where consistent hose retrieval and structural durability are required. Built on a larger chassis than standard series reels, it accommodates a 1/2 inch ID hose up to 50 feet in length. The reel features a CNC robotically spun steel disc construction and Coxreels dual axle Super Hub support system, which reduces vibration and reinforces structural integrity during operation. A machined brass 90-degree full-flow NPT swivel allows seal maintenance and hose installation without removing the reel from its mount. This reel is installed by HVAC technicians, plumbers, and general maintenance professionals in fixed or vehicle-mounted service setups.
The MP-N-450 is suited for residential and light commercial service environments where a reliable, self-retracting hose management solution is needed. The multi-position guide arm adjusts for wall, floor, ceiling, and vehicle mounting, making it adaptable to shop, service van, and jobsite installations. The enclosed, lubricated cartridge-style motor can be removed without disassembling the reel, which simplifies field maintenance. The single-pedestal steel base is constructed without welds, using a one-piece design for stability without added bulk.
Designed as an OEM-style spring-driven hose reel for 1/2 inch ID hose up to 50 feet in length, suitable for standard NPT-connected service lines in fixed and mobile installations.
Installation should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with hose reel mounting requirements for the intended surface type. Depressurize and disconnect the hose line from the fluid source before mounting or servicing the reel. The multi-position guide arm must be secured in the correct orientation for the chosen mounting surface before placing the reel in service. Consult applicable facility or vehicle safety guidelines when mounting in mobile service applications.
