The COXREELS HP1125-4-500-ED is a heavy-duty motorized hose reel built for demanding industrial and commercial applications. It accommodates 1/2 inch ID hose up to 500 feet in length and is powered by a 12-volt DC, 1/2 HP explosion-proof reversible motor with an electric drive system. The reel features an all-welded 12-gauge steel A-frame base, CNC robotically spun and ribbed discs, and permanently lubricated self-aligning pillow block bearings. A CPC powder coat finish provides chip resistance and corrosion inhibition. Licensed contractors and industrial maintenance professionals are the primary installers of this unit.
The HP1125-4-500-ED is suited for industrial facilities, service garages, fleet maintenance operations, and petrochemical environments where explosion-proof motor requirements apply. The electroless nickel-plated steel 90-degree full-flow NPT swivel inlet allows smooth hose deployment without kinking. The open drum slot design and low-profile outlet riser ensure a flat, non-crimping hose wrap across the full 500-foot capacity. The adjustable tension brake prevents free-wheeling during hose extension and retraction.
Designed for use with 1/2 inch ID hose up to 500 feet in length. Part of the COXREELS 1125 Series platform of hand crank and motorized hose reels intended for industrial and commercial fluid transfer applications.
Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician or industrial maintenance technician familiar with 12-volt DC wiring and explosion-proof equipment requirements. Disconnect and lock out all power sources before servicing the motor or electrical connections. Secure the reel to a structurally sound mounting surface using the mounting pattern in the steel base. Verify hose connections are properly torqued at the NPT swivel inlet per the fitting manufacturer specifications before pressurizing the system.
