The COXREELS EZ-TSHF-550 is a supreme-duty dual pedestal fuel hose reel built for professional fuel dispensing applications. Rated for non-aromatic fuels including diesel, kerosene, fuel oil, and heating oil, this T Series reel accepts 3/4 inch ID hose up to 50 feet in length. The reel ships with a machined solid brass 90-degree full-flow NPT swivel and features the patented EZ-COIL retraction system, which retracts hose up to 80 percent slower than conventional spring-driven reels for improved operator control and safety. At 91 pounds, the unit is built for permanent or vehicle-mounted service and is finished in CPC powder coat for chip and rust resistance. Licensed HVAC, plumbing, and petroleum equipment technicians are the typical installers.
This reel is used in utility fleets, ground support equipment, bulk liquid transport, fuel and lube trucks, aircraft refuelers, and tank trucks. The dual pedestal T Series frame configuration provides maximum stability on fuel storage dispensing systems and mobile service vehicles. The multi-position guide arm adjusts for wall, floor, ceiling, and vehicle mounting, making it adaptable across a wide range of fixed and mobile installations. The enclosed, lubricated cartridge-style EZ-COIL motor is field-removable for maintenance without special tooling.
Designed for non-aromatic fuel dispensing applications including diesel, kerosene, fuel oil, and heating oil. Suited for use on fuel storage dispensing systems, fuel and lube trucks, aircraft refuelers, tank trucks, and ground support equipment as part of the COXREELS T Series dual pedestal reel lineup.
Installation should be performed by a qualified petroleum equipment technician or licensed tradesperson familiar with fuel handling systems and applicable local codes. Shut down and depressurize the fuel supply line completely before connecting or disconnecting the reel. Ensure all fittings are thread-sealed and torqued per the fitting manufacturer specifications using appropriate fuel-rated thread sealant. Verify mounting surface load capacity is sufficient for the reel weight plus hose and fluid load before securing the base.
