The COXREELS EZ-TSH-550 is a spring-driven hose reel built for truck-mount and off-road service applications. Part of the COXREELS T Series, it features an extra-large chassis with dual pedestal-style arms and the COXREELS Super Hub triple axle support system, reducing vibration and reinforcing structural integrity under demanding field conditions. The reel accepts hose with a 3/4 inch ID and 1-1/16 inch OD up to 50 feet in length. The EZ-Coil enclosed cartridge-style motor retracts hose at up to 80 percent slower than conventional spring reels, reducing snap-back hazard. This unit is installed by service technicians, fleet mechanics, and lube technicians operating mobile service vehicles.
The EZ-TSH-550 is designed for mobile service environments where road vibration, abrasive debris, and repeated daily use are constants. Typical applications include lube trucks, mobile fluid-service rigs, construction equipment support vehicles, and any off-road platform requiring a reliable spring-retract hose reel. The dual pedestal base and triple axle hub make it well suited to installations where chassis flex and impact loads would compromise lighter-duty reels. The multi-position guide arm accommodates wall, floor, ceiling, and vehicle mounting configurations without reel removal.
Designed as an OEM-style spring-driven truck-mount hose reel for mobile fluid-service and off-road vehicle applications requiring 3/4 inch ID hose up to 50 feet.
Installation is typically performed by fleet mechanics or service technicians mounting the reel to a vehicle chassis or service body. Depressurize and disconnect the fluid supply line before any hose or fitting work. Secure the base to a structural mounting surface using fasteners appropriate for the load rating of the vehicle body. The multi-position guide arm should be set and locked before placing the reel in service to prevent hose abrasion against the chassis.
