The COXREELS EZ-TMPL-550 is a spring-driven, truck-mount hose reel built for demanding off-road and fleet service applications. Part of the EZ-T Series, it features an extra-large chassis with dual pedestal-style arms and a Super Hub triple axle support system that reduces vibration and reinforces structural integrity under heavy use. The reel is equipped with the EZ-Coil patented retraction system, which slows rewind speed by up to 80 percent compared to conventional reels, reducing hose wear and operator risk. At 74 pounds, this is a heavy-duty unit intended for professional installation by fleet mechanics, HVAC service techs, or industrial maintenance crews.
The EZ-TMPL-550 is designed for truck-mounted service rigs and other vehicles operating in abusive environments where vibration, impact, and constant cycling are routine. The 3/4 inch inner diameter hose path and 1-1/16 inch outer diameter accommodate standard service hoses up to 50 feet in length. The multi-position guide arm supports wall, floor, ceiling, and vehicle mounting configurations, making it adaptable across a range of service truck layouts and facility installations.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and direct-fit unit within the COXREELS EZ-T Series for truck-mounted and off-road service vehicle hose reel applications accepting a 3/4 inch ID, 50-foot hose configuration.
Installation is typically performed by a qualified fleet mechanic or industrial maintenance technician. Depressurize and drain the supply line completely before mounting or connecting the reel. Secure the steel base to a structurally rated surface using fasteners appropriate for the mount material and load rating. Verify NPT thread connections are sealed with appropriate thread sealant and pressure-tested before returning the system to service.
