The COXREELS EZ-SHWTL-150 is a spring-driven welding hose reel designed to manage bulky twin-line welding hose in demanding shop and field environments. Built on the SHW Series chassis, it features a larger frame and Coxreels original Super Hub dual-axle support system for increased structural stability and reduced vibration during operation. The reel comes equipped with the EZ-Coil retraction system, which slows hose retraction by up to 80 percent compared to conventional spring reels, significantly reducing snap-back hazards. With a 1/4 inch inner diameter and 50 foot hose capacity, it is sized for welding gas supply lines in professional fabrication and service settings.
This reel is intended for professional welding environments where twin-line welding hose must be stored, dispensed, and retracted safely and repeatedly. The larger SHW Series frame accommodates longer hose runs and heavier hose assemblies. It suits wall, floor, ceiling, and vehicle mounting configurations thanks to its multi-position guide arm, making it adaptable to fixed shop installations as well as service vehicle setups. Licensed welding professionals and industrial maintenance technicians are the primary installers and operators.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and direct fitment reel for twin-line welding hose applications in the COXREELS SHW Series product family, accommodating 1/4 inch inner diameter hose up to 50 feet in length.
Installation should be performed by a qualified welding equipment technician or industrial maintenance professional familiar with welding gas plumbing. Shut off all gas supply valves and depressurize the hose assembly completely before connecting or disconnecting fittings. Verify that all swivel and hose connections are leak-tested with an approved leak detection solution before returning the system to service. Consult applicable OSHA and local safety codes for welding gas hose reel mounting requirements.
