The COXREELS EZ-SHW-1100 is a spring-driven welding hose reel built to manage twin-line oxygen-acetylene hose in demanding shop and field environments. It belongs to the SHW Series, which features a larger chassis and frame than the compact P-W Series, making it suited for longer hose runs. The reel includes Coxreels original Super Hub dual axle support system for added structural rigidity, reduced vibration, and stable operation. The EZ-Coil retraction motor slows the retract speed by up to 80 percent compared to conventional spring reels, reducing snap-back risk. Licensed welding and HVAC technicians are the typical installers.
The EZ-SHW-1100 is designed for fixed and mobile installations where twin-line welding hose must be stored, dispensed, and retrieved repeatedly. The multi-position guide arm adjusts to accommodate wall, floor, ceiling, and vehicle mounting configurations. The external 90-degree dual-ported brass swivel with Viton seals routes both gas connections from the same side of the reel, so the unit does not need to be dismounted for hose connection or disconnection. Typical applications include welding shops, maintenance facilities, service trucks, and industrial production areas running oxygen-acetylene or similar welding gas combinations.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and direct-fit reel for twin-line oxygen-acetylene welding hose applications with a 1/4 inch inner diameter hose up to 100 feet in length.
Installation should be performed by a qualified welding equipment technician or licensed trades professional familiar with compressed gas handling. Shut off and bleed all gas supply lines before mounting or servicing the reel. Secure the steel base to a structurally sound mounting surface using hardware rated for the combined weight of the reel and fully loaded hose. Verify swivel and hose connections for leaks using an approved leak-detection solution before returning the system to service.
