The COXREELS EZ-SHL-550 is a spring-driven hose reel from the SH Series Super Hub line, built for demanding trade applications where hose management, durability, and safe retraction matter. The reel accommodates 3/4 inch ID hose up to 50 feet and features Coxreels EZ-Coil retraction technology, which slows the rewind speed up to 80 percent compared to conventional spring reels. The chassis uses heavy-duty CNC robotically spun and ribbed steel discs with rolled edges, and the frame is constructed around a solid one-piece steel base with a single pedestal support post requiring no welds. A machined solid brass 90-degree full-flow NPT swivel allows in-place seal service without removing the reel from its mount.
The EZ-SHL-550 is suited for industrial, commercial, and fleet service environments where a wall, floor, ceiling, or vehicle-mounted hose station is required. Typical applications include fluid transfer, wash-down, air supply, and general service lines in facilities, service bays, and mobile service vehicles. The multi-position guide arm adjusts to accommodate a wide range of mounting orientations, making this reel adaptable across job sites and permanent installations alike. Licensed plumbers, mechanics, and industrial service technicians are the primary installers of this type of equipment.
Designed for use with 3/4 inch ID hose up to 50 feet in length; intended as an OEM-style spring-driven reel for industrial and commercial hose management systems.
Installation should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with hose reel mounting requirements and the fluid or pneumatic system being served. Shut off and depressurize the supply line before connecting or servicing the reel. Mounting hardware must be appropriate for the surface type and rated for the combined weight of the reel and filled hose. Refer to applicable facility or vehicle codes when installing in regulated environments.
