The COXREELS EZ-SHL-4100 is a spring-driven hose reel from the SH Series Super Hub line, built for demanding trade and industrial applications. It features a 1/2 inch ID hose passage, accommodates up to 100 feet of hose, and is engineered around Coxreels original dual axle Super Hub support system. That dual axle design reduces vibration, increases operational stability, and strengthens the overall structural integrity of the reel. The EZ-COIL retraction system slows hose retrieval to up to 80 percent slower than conventional spring reels, reducing snap-back risk during use. Licensed contractors, fleet mechanics, and service technicians handling air, water, or compatible fluid lines will find this reel suited for fixed and mobile installations alike.
The EZ-SHL-4100 is appropriate for use in automotive service bays, industrial facilities, fleet maintenance garages, and similar environments where a high-capacity, spring-retract hose reel is needed. Its multi-position guide arm adjusts for wall, floor, ceiling, and vehicle mounting, making it adaptable across a wide range of installation layouts. The large-chassis SH Series frame is designed to handle longer hose lengths and larger hose diameters compared to standard compact reels, supporting heavier-duty service cycles.
Designed as an OEM-style spring-driven hose reel replacement or new installation unit suitable for 1/2 inch ID hose applications in industrial and trade service environments.
Installation is typically performed by a qualified mechanic or maintenance technician. Before mounting, shut off and depressurize any fluid or air supply lines that will connect to the reel. Secure the mounting base to a structurally adequate surface using hardware rated for the combined weight of the reel and a full hose load. Verify that the guide arm position is set and locked before pressurizing the system for the first time.
