The COXREELS EZ-SH-550 is a spring-driven hose reel built on the SH Series Super Hub platform, designed for industrial and commercial fluid transfer applications. The reel features a dual axle support system that reduces vibration and reinforces structural integrity during retraction and deployment. The EZ-Coil spring motor is enclosed in a lubricated cartridge and retracts up to 80 percent slower than conventional reels, significantly reducing snap-back hazard. A machined solid brass 90-degree full-flow NPT swivel allows seal service and hose installation without dismounting the reel. Licensed plumbers, mechanics, and fluid-system technicians are the primary installers.
The EZ-SH-550 is suited for workshop, fleet service, industrial facility, and vehicle-mount installations where a 3/4 inch inner diameter hose line is required. The larger SH Series chassis accommodates longer hose lengths and larger hose diameters compared to the standard P Series frame. The multi-position guide arm adjusts to wall, floor, ceiling, and vehicle mounting configurations, making this reel a practical fit across a wide range of service environments. It is sold as a single unit without hose included.
Designed as an OEM-style spring-driven hose reel for 3/4 inch inner diameter hose lines in industrial, commercial, and vehicle-mount fluid transfer systems.
Installation should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with fluid transfer systems and hose reel mounting requirements. Shut off and depressurize the fluid supply line completely before connecting or disconnecting hose fittings. Secure the reel to a structurally adequate surface using fasteners appropriate for the mounting substrate and load rating. Refer to local facility safety codes and the manufacturer installation guide for torque and anchoring requirements.
