The COXREELS EZ-PC13-5012-F is a spring-driven power cord reel built for heavy-duty industrial use. It replaces tangled extension cords with a self-retracting design that improves safety and jobsite efficiency. The reel uses Coxreels patented EZ-Coil cartridge-style motor, which retracts up to 80 percent slower than conventional reels to prevent cord whip and snap-back injuries. The housing is constructed from heavy-gauge powder-coated steel and features CNC robotically spun, ribbed discs with rolled edges for durability and cord protection. Weighing 42 pounds with a footprint of 13 inches long by 17 inches wide by 15.25 inches tall, this unit is sized for fixed mounting in demanding shop, fleet, and industrial environments. Licensed electricians and industrial maintenance technicians are the primary installers.
This cord reel is designed for permanent or semi-permanent installation in industrial facilities, service shops, fleet maintenance bays, and similar heavy-use environments. The multi-position guide arm adjusts to accommodate wall, floor, ceiling, and vehicle mounting configurations. It ships with a 5-foot lead cable and grounding plug, making it ready for integration into existing branch circuits. The duplex GFCI metal industrial receptacle provides built-in ground fault protection at the point of use, making it well suited for locations where NEC requirements mandate GFCI protection.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct upgrade for industrial spring-driven power cord reels in heavy-duty shop and facility applications. The PC Series design is modeled after the Coxreels P and SH Series platforms.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with applicable NEC requirements. Disconnect and lock out the branch circuit before mounting or wiring the reel. The multi-position guide arm must be secured to a structurally adequate surface rated for the combined weight of the reel and cord load. Do not exceed the cord reel rated ampacity or alter the factory-installed GFCI receptacle wiring.
