The COXREELS EZ-PC13-5012-A is a spring-driven power cord reel built for industrial and commercial service environments where tangled extension cords create safety hazards and lost productivity. Part of the PC Series, this reel uses Coxreels EZ-Coil technology to retract up to 80 percent slower than conventional spring reels, reducing snap-back hazards during cord retrieval. The reel is constructed with heavy-gauge powder-coated steel throughout and ships ready for wall, floor, ceiling, or vehicle mounting. At 40 pounds, it is a substantial, fixed-mount unit intended for permanent or semi-permanent installation by electricians and maintenance technicians in demanding shop, fleet, or industrial settings.
This cord reel is suited for industrial facilities, service bays, maintenance shops, and fleet operations where a reliable 50-foot powered cord drop is needed at a fixed station. The self-retracting design eliminates cord management labor between uses and keeps the work area clear. The single industrial receptacle and included 5-foot lead cable with grounding plug make it compatible with standard industrial outlet configurations. The adjustable multi-position guide arm allows the unit to be oriented for nearly any mounting surface without additional hardware modifications.
Designed as an OEM-style industrial power cord reel for permanent or semi-permanent mounting in shop, fleet, and facility applications requiring a 50-foot self-retracting cord supply.
Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with applicable NEC requirements for cord and plug connections and fixed electrical equipment. Power down and lock out the supply circuit before making any electrical connections to the reel. Confirm the mounting surface can support the static and dynamic load of a 40-pound reel under retraction forces. Do not exceed the cord and receptacle ratings for the connected load.
