The COXREELS 319-424 is a 300 Series spring-driven exhaust hose reel built for ventilation and exhaust duct applications in demanding shop and fleet service environments. Constructed with an all-welded steel frame and heavy-duty CNC robotically spun discs, this reel is rated for 4-inch internal diameter hose up to 24 feet in length. A lubricated and enclosed cartridge-style motor handles rewind duty reliably, and the unit ships with internal ducting already installed so it is ready for immediate deployment. A chip-resistant, rust-inhibiting CPC powder coat finish protects the unit in high-cycle environments. Licensed HVAC and exhaust system technicians are the primary installers.
The 319-424 is designed for exhaust ductwork applications where overhead or wall-mounted hose management is required. The 300 Series accepts 4 to 6 inch exhaust ductwork across all models, eliminating the need to fit ductwork individually per reel. Typical installations include vehicle exhaust extraction in automotive shops, fleet maintenance bays, fire stations, and similar facilities where controlled ventilation is critical. The spring-driven retraction mechanism keeps hose off the floor and resets automatically after each use, reducing trip hazards and wear.
Designed as a 300 Series OEM-style spring-driven exhaust reel compatible with 4 to 6 inch exhaust ductwork systems; consult COXREELS documentation to confirm fitment with specific duct configurations and mounting requirements.
Installation is typically performed by licensed HVAC or mechanical contractors familiar with exhaust ventilation systems. Before servicing or mounting, ensure all connected exhaust sources are shut down and the area is adequately ventilated. Mounting hardware and structural anchorage must comply with applicable local mechanical codes and the load rating of the mounting surface given the unit weight of 103 pounds. Do not exceed the rated hose diameter or length when configuring the reel for a specific bay.
