The COXREELS 1680-2024-E is a heavy-duty motorized hose reel from the 1600 Series, designed for industrial and commercial fluid handling applications. It features a 1.5-inch ID inlet, accommodates up to 100 feet of hose, and is driven by a 12-volt DC reversible motor rated at 1/3 horsepower. The reel is built on a one-piece CNC robotically welded 12-gauge steel hybrid A-frame base, finished with a chip-resistant CPC powder coat and zinc-plated steel plumbing components. Permanently lubricated, self-aligning pillow block bearings support smooth drum rotation. An adjustable tension brake prevents free-wheeling during payout. Licensed plumbers, industrial maintenance crews, and fleet service technicians are the primary installers of this unit.
The 1680-2024-E suits demanding stationary or vehicle-mount fluid dispensing setups in industrial plants, service garages, and fleet maintenance facilities. The symmetric reel design supports a wide range of hose configurations, making it adaptable to hydraulic, water, or chemical transfer lines depending on hose compatibility. The low-profile outlet riser and open drum slot deliver a flat, non-crimping hose wrap, which reduces wear over repeated wind-and-unwind cycles. The 12V DC motor enables powered retraction, reducing operator fatigue in high-volume service environments.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation hose reel for industrial and commercial fluid dispensing systems requiring a 1.5-inch ID inlet and motorized retraction capability.
Installation should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with fluid handling systems and low-voltage DC wiring. Shut off all fluid supply lines and disconnect the 12V DC power source before mounting or servicing the reel. Secure the A-frame base to a structurally sound surface using appropriate fasteners rated for the reel weight. Electrical connections to the motor must comply with applicable NEC guidelines for low-voltage DC circuits.
