The COXREELS 1660-2024-E is a heavy-duty motor-driven hose reel from the 1600 Series, built for industrial and commercial fluid-transfer applications that demand reliable, high-cycle performance. It accepts a 1 inch ID hose up to 200 feet in length and is driven by a 12-volt DC, 1/3 HP reversible motor for powered retrieval. The all-steel construction includes a CNC robotically welded 12-gauge steel hybrid A-frame base and CNC spun, ribbed discs with rolled edges. A nickel-plated steel 90-degree full-flow NPT swivel allows seal maintenance and hose installation without removing the reel from its mount. At 102 pounds, this is a fixed-mount unit intended for permanent installation in service trucks, shop bays, or industrial facilities.
The 1660-2024-E suits applications where motorized hose retrieval reduces operator fatigue and speeds up workflow — typical in lube service bays, hydraulic shops, industrial wash-down stations, and fleet maintenance facilities. The symmetric reel design supports flexible mounting orientations, and the hybrid frame provides vertical side surfaces for wall, ceiling, or pedestal mounting. The adjustable tension brake prevents free-wheeling during hose payout. Installers working with petroleum-based fluids, water, air, or similar media at appropriate pressure ratings will find this reel compatible with a wide range of service scenarios.
Designed as an OEM-specification motorized hose reel for fixed installations requiring a 1 inch ID inlet and up to 200 feet of hose capacity on a 12V DC power circuit.
Installation should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with fluid-transfer systems and low-voltage DC wiring. Disconnect and lock out all power to the 12V DC circuit before making electrical connections to the motor. Mount the reel to a surface rated to support a minimum static load well above the combined weight of the reel and fully loaded hose. Ensure the NPT swivel inlet connection is made with appropriate thread sealant and that all fluid supply lines are depressurized before connecting or servicing the swivel.
