The COXREELS 1660-1124-ED is a heavy-duty motorized hose reel from the 1600 Series, designed for industrial and commercial fluid-transfer applications. It accepts 1-inch inside diameter hose up to 100 feet in length and is built on a CNC robotically welded 12-gauge steel hybrid A-frame base. Power comes from a 12-volt DC, 1/2 HP explosion-proof reversible motor, making this reel suited for mobile service units, wash bays, lube facilities, and other demanding environments. A nickel-plated steel NPT swivel and permanently lubricated pillow block bearings round out the core mechanical package. The unit weighs 99 pounds.
The 1660-1124-ED fits applications where a powered, self-retracting hose management solution is required. The explosion-proof motor classification makes it appropriate for environments where flammable vapors or dust may be present. Typical installations include fleet maintenance shops, fuel and oil dispensing stations, mobile lube trucks, and industrial service bays. The symmetric reel design and adjustable tension brake support both ceiling and wall mounting configurations, giving installers flexibility in tight or unconventional spaces.
Designed as an OEM-style motorized hose reel for industrial and commercial fluid-delivery systems requiring 1-inch ID hose connections and 12V DC power supply.
Installation should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with industrial hose reel mounting practices. Before servicing or mounting, disconnect all electrical power and depressurize the hose and fluid supply line. Secure the frame to a structurally sound surface using hardware appropriate for the mounting orientation and load. Electrical connections to the 12V DC motor should comply with applicable NEC requirements and, where explosion-proof classification is required, follow the specific area-classification guidelines for the installation site.
