The COXREELS 1275-4-50-ED is a heavy-duty dual hose reel from the 1275 Series, built for large-capacity industrial and commercial hose management applications. It accepts hose with a 1/2 inch inner diameter and 7/8 inch outer diameter, with a 50 ft hose capacity. The reel is driven by a 12V DC, 1/2 HP explosion-proof reversible electric motor with positive gear drive rewind for consistent, repeatable performance. The all-welded, one-piece A-frame base is fabricated from 12-gauge steel, providing rigid structure without bolted joints. Licensed contractors and industrial service professionals are the primary installers for this class of reel.
The 1275-4-50-ED is suited for large-capacity fluid transfer applications in industrial, commercial, and heavy-trade environments where dual-circuit plumbing is required. Its dual swivel inlet and dual low-profile outlet riser design supports a flat, non-crimping hose wrap across the open drum slot. Typical installations include service bays, manufacturing facilities, and heavy equipment maintenance operations where a motorized retract and explosion-proof motor rating are necessary for the application environment.
Designed for use with 1/2 inch inner diameter hose up to 50 ft in length as part of the COXREELS 1275 Series dual hose reel platform.
Installation should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with fluid transfer systems and low-voltage DC electrical connections. Disconnect all power and depressurize the hose circuit before mounting or servicing the reel. Secure the reel to a structurally adequate surface using the integrated base mounting pattern. Verify that the electrical supply and motor wiring comply with applicable NEC requirements and any local codes governing the installation environment, particularly where explosion-proof ratings are a factor.
