The COXREELS 1185-2528-ED is a heavy-duty, motor-driven hose reel built for high-volume fluid delivery applications requiring long runs of large-diameter hose. Part of the COXREELS 1185 Series, this unit accepts hose with a 1-1/2 inch ID and 2-1/16 inch OD and handles up to 150 feet of hose. Power comes from a 12-volt DC, 1/2 HP explosion-proof reversible motor. The all-welded steel A-frame base, CNC robotically spun ribbed discs, and permanent lubricated bearings combine to handle the substantial reel weight and hose load in both stationary and demanding mobile installations. Licensed contractors and industrial service technicians are the primary installers of this equipment.
The 1185-2528-ED is suited for applications where large-diameter hose must be deployed and retrieved repeatedly, including mobile service trucks, wash-down stations, fuel and fluid transfer operations, and industrial plant environments. The open drum slot design and low-profile outlet riser allow the hose to lay flat during wrapping, eliminating crimps and maintaining consistent flow. This reel is intended for professional installation in locations where 12-volt DC power is available to drive the reversible motor.
Designed for use with hose measuring 1-1/2 inch ID and 2-1/16 inch OD, accommodating lengths up to 150 feet. Intended for professional installation in mobile and stationary fluid-delivery systems where a motor-driven large-diameter hose reel is required.
Installation should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with fluid transfer equipment and low-voltage DC electrical systems. Disconnect and lock out all power and fluid supply lines before mounting or servicing the reel. Secure the reel using the mounting pattern located in the steel base, and verify that the 12-volt DC power supply is properly rated before connecting the motor. Consult applicable local codes and the manufacturer documentation for specific mounting torque and electrical connection requirements.
