The COXREELS 1185-2528-BUXX is a heavy-duty hose reel from the 1185 Series, engineered to manage long lengths of large-diameter hose for high-volume fluid delivery applications. Built on a one-piece, all-welded 12-gauge steel A-frame base, this reel delivers the structural rigidity needed to support the added weight of large hose loads without flex or fatigue. The exclusive low-profile outlet riser and open drum slot design promote a non-crimping, flat smooth hose wrap, protecting hose integrity over repeated cycles. An electroless nickel-plated steel 90-degree full-flow NPT swivel with ball bearings allows fast hose installation without removing the reel from its mount. Installed by industrial maintenance technicians, fleet service crews, and field operations teams.
The 1185-2528-BUXX suits applications requiring high-volume delivery through large-diameter hose, including bulk fluid transfer, industrial washdown, and demanding mobile service operations. The open drum design accommodates long hose lengths while the direct hand crank provides reliable mechanical retraction in the field. The all-welded A-frame base includes a defined mounting pattern for straightforward reel installation and removal, making it well suited for truck-mounted or fixed industrial service bays where the reel may need to be repositioned.
Designed as an OEM-style reel for large-diameter hose applications with a 1-1/2 inch ID hose connection in industrial, mobile, and fixed service installations.
Installation should be performed by qualified industrial or service technicians familiar with hose reel mounting and fluid system connections. Depressurize and disconnect all fluid lines before servicing or mounting the reel. Secure the reel to a structurally adequate surface using the mounting pattern in the steel base, following applicable fastener torque guidelines from the mounting surface manufacturer. Verify all NPT swivel connections are leak-free before returning the system to service.
