The COXREELS 1185-2528-A is a heavy-duty hand crank and motor driven hose reel built for high-volume fluid delivery applications requiring long lengths of large-diameter hose. It features a 1.5-inch inner diameter hose inlet and accommodates up to 150 feet of hose, making it well suited for demanding industrial, commercial, and mobile service operations. The reel ships at 130 pounds and measures 49 inches long by 42 inches wide by 34 inches tall. An all-welded A-frame base and CNC robotically spun discs with rolled edges provide structural rigidity without the weak points of bolted assemblies. A chip-resistant CPC powder coat finish protects against rust and wear in harsh field conditions.
This reel is intended for use in applications that demand extended hose runs and elevated flow volumes, including mobile service trucks, industrial facilities, and fleet maintenance bays. The open drum design and exclusive low-profile outlet riser produce a non-crimping, flat hose wrap that protects hose integrity across repeated use cycles. An aluminum body air motor with a 4-vane design drives the reel in motor-driven configurations. Licensed mechanics, service technicians, and industrial maintenance crews are the primary installers and operators of this unit.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-fit unit within the COXREELS 1185 Series, compatible with large-diameter hose configurations requiring a 1.5-inch ID inlet in hand crank or motor driven reel setups.
Installation should be performed by qualified service technicians familiar with large-capacity hose reel mounting requirements. Shut off all fluid supply lines and depressurize the hose assembly completely before connecting or disconnecting the reel. Secure the unit to a structurally adequate surface using the mounting pattern located in the steel base. For motor-driven configurations, verify that the air supply meets the motor requirements before commissioning the reel.
