The COXREELS 1185-2028-EA-BYXX is a heavy-duty motorized storage reel designed to wind and store long runs of hose, cord, cable, rope, wire, barbed wire, tape, chain, and collapsible hose. It is built around a 115-volt AC, 1/2 HP reversible AC rectified motor that powers controlled take-up without manual cranking. The frame is a one-piece, all-welded steel A-frame construction — not bolted — measuring 44 inches long, 28 inches wide, and 34 inches tall, and weighing 135 pounds. CNC robotically spun and ribbed discs with rolled edges provide structural strength and protect stored materials from damage during operation and transport.
This storage reel is suited for demanding stationary or mobile applications across industrial, commercial, and trade environments. Because it has no swivel and no riser, it is purpose-built for storing and maintaining long lengths of material rather than active fluid transfer. Typical deployment scenarios include job trailers, service vehicles, maintenance shops, and utility facilities where bulk hose or cable management is a recurring need. The reel accepts a wide variety of materials, making it a versatile solution for contractors and facility maintenance crews who regularly handle large coils.
Designed as an OEM-style storage reel for use with hose, cord, cable, rope, wire, barbed wire, tape, chain, and similar long-length materials in stationary or mobile industrial and commercial installations.
Installation and electrical connection should be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with applicable NEC requirements for 115V AC motor-driven equipment. Secure the A-frame base to a flat, stable surface using the integrated mounting pattern before energizing the motor. Disconnect power at the source before servicing the motor, brake, or bearings. Verify that the tension brake is properly adjusted before placing the reel into service to prevent uncontrolled free-wheeling.
