The COXREELS 1185-1124-EA is a motor-driven hose reel from the 1185 Series, built to handle long lengths of large-diameter hose in high-volume fluid delivery applications. It accepts 1-1/2 inch ID hose and features a 2-1/16 inch OD drum profile with 50 feet of hose capacity. An all-welded steel A-frame base and CNC robotically spun ribbed discs give the unit the structural rigidity needed to carry heavy hose loads without flexing. A 115-volt AC, 1/2 HP reversible AC rectified motor drives hose retrieval. The low-profile outlet riser and open drum slot design eliminate hose crimping and promote a flat, even wrap across every layer.
The 1185-1124-EA suits heavy-duty commercial and industrial applications where large-bore hose must be deployed and retrieved repeatedly. Typical install environments include fleet maintenance facilities, mobile service trucks, industrial wash-down stations, and similar high-demand settings where a hand crank alone is insufficient for the hose weight and length involved. The motorized drive reduces operator fatigue and speeds service cycles in demanding mobile or fixed-mount scenarios.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct application fit for large-diameter hose reel installations requiring 1-1/2 inch ID hose connections and 50 feet of capacity in commercial or industrial fluid delivery systems.
Installation should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with motorized hose reel mounting and low-voltage AC wiring. Disconnect and lock out all electrical power before servicing the motor or wiring connections; follow applicable NEC requirements for motor branch circuit protection. Mount the reel on a flat, level surface using the base mounting pattern, ensuring the structure can support the combined weight of the reel and a fully loaded hose. Do not operate the motor-driven reel with the hose kinked or obstructed, as this can damage the drive mechanism.
