The COXREELS 1185-1124-A is a heavy-duty hose reel from the 1185 Series, engineered for high-volume fluid delivery applications that require long runs of large-diameter hose. The reel features a 1.5-inch ID inlet, accommodates hose with a 2.0625-inch OD, and handles up to 50 feet of hose. It is available in hand crank and motor-driven configurations. An exclusive low-profile outlet riser combined with an open drum slot design ensures a non-crimping, flat hose wrap that protects hose integrity during repeated use. The all-welded steel A-frame base provides structural rigidity capable of supporting the significant weight load of a fully loaded large-diameter hose reel, including in mobile and demanding field applications. Licensed HVAC, plumbing, and industrial service technicians are the primary installers.
The 1185-1124-A is suited for industrial, commercial, and mobile service applications where high-flow delivery is required. The open drum design accommodates large-diameter hose without kinking or deforming the hose profile during coiling or uncoiling. Its robust frame and permanent lubricated bearings make it appropriate for workshop, service truck, and facility maintenance installations where the reel is subject to repeated daily cycling and heavy loads. The reel weighs 84 pounds and measures 29.5 inches in length, 25 inches in width, and 26.5 inches in height, making it suitable for fixed mount or mobile platform installation.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and direct-fit unit within the COXREELS 1185 Series for large-diameter, high-volume hose reel applications requiring a 1.5-inch ID connection.
Installation is typically performed by licensed plumbing, HVAC, or industrial service technicians. Before mounting or connecting hose, relieve all system pressure and shut off the fluid supply at the source. Secure the reel to a structurally adequate surface using the mounting pattern in the steel base, ensuring the mount can support the combined weight of the reel and a fully loaded 50-foot large-diameter hose. Follow applicable local plumbing codes and manufacturer torque guidelines for all NPT swivel connections.
