The COXREELS 1175-6-100 is a heavy-duty hose reel from the 1175 Series, designed for hand crank and motorized operation with larger hose capacities and diameters than lighter-duty reels. It features a 1 inch inner diameter inlet, accommodates 100 feet of hose, and is built around a one-piece all-welded 12-gauge steel A-frame base for rigid, reliable structure. The drum uses a low-profile outlet riser and open-slot design to deliver flat, even hose wraps without kinking. A CPC powder coat finish provides chip resistance and rust inhibition for long service life in demanding environments. Licensed trades and industrial maintenance professionals are the primary installers of this unit.
The 1175-6-100 suits commercial and industrial applications where larger hose diameters and longer hose runs are required. Typical installations include fleet service bays, manufacturing facilities, agricultural operations, and heavy equipment maintenance shops. The open-drum slot design and ribbed CNC-spun discs make it well suited to environments where hose protection and consistent rewind performance are critical. The adjustable tension brake prevents free-wheeling during hose deployment, adding control in high-activity work areas.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and direct-fit unit within the COXREELS 1175 Series, compatible with standard NPT hose fittings at 1 inch inner diameter and accepting hose runs up to 100 feet.
Installation should be performed by a qualified mechanic or maintenance professional familiar with hose reel mounting requirements. Depressurize and drain the hose and supply line fully before connecting or disconnecting fittings. Secure the reel to a structural surface using the mounting pattern built into the steel base, following applicable facility and equipment codes. Verify swivel and inlet connections are leak-free before returning the system to service.
