The COXREELS 1125WCL-6-EA is a motorized welding cable reel designed for grounding cable applications in demanding industrial and field environments. Built on a one-piece CNC robotically welded 12-gauge steel A-frame base, this reel integrates all electrical components inside the drum to achieve a narrow overall width profile. The unit ships with a 115-volt AC, 1/2 HP explosion-proof reversible motor and features a drum-located slip ring assembly with a removable access panel for routine maintenance without dismounting the reel. A long-handled locking pin holds the drum stationary during storage or transport. Licensed electricians and welding equipment technicians are the primary installers of this reel.
The 1125WCL-6-EA is suited for industrial facilities, construction sites, and maintenance shops where grounding or welding cable must be deployed and retrieved repeatedly. The narrow drum width makes it practical in space-constrained installations. An optional stacking bracket allows two reels to be paired into a single organized lead-and-ground combination unit, reducing footprint and cable management time. This reel is sold individually.
Designed as an OEM-style motorized cable reel for welding and grounding cable applications in industrial and construction environments. Compatible with optional stacking bracket for lead-and-ground combination configurations.
Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician or mechanical technician familiar with motor-driven reel systems. Disconnect and lock out all power sources before making electrical connections to the motor or slip ring assembly. Mount the reel to a structurally adequate surface using the mounting pattern located in the steel base. Follow applicable NEC requirements for motor branch circuit wiring and grounding of the reel frame.
