The COXREELS 1125WCL-12-ED is a motorized welding cable reel built for demanding grounding cable applications in industrial and commercial environments. Driven by a 12-volt DC, 1/2 HP explosion-proof reversible motor, it automates cable extension and retraction to reduce wear on expensive welding cable. All electrical components are housed inside the drum, resulting in a narrow overall width that saves space in tight work areas. The reel weighs 71 pounds and measures 31 inches long by 21 inches wide by 21 inches tall. It ships as a single unit and is intended for installation by qualified electrical or industrial maintenance technicians.
The 1125WCL-12-ED fits grounding cable and welding cable service in industrial facilities, fabrication shops, and other settings where motorized cable management improves workflow and cable longevity. A stacking bracket is available separately to combine a lead reel and a ground reel into a single organized unit, making it practical for dedicated welding stations or mobile service carts. The CPC powder coat finish resists chipping and rust, supporting long-term use in environments with exposure to weld spatter, moisture, and shop debris.
Designed as an OEM-style motorized cable reel for welding and grounding cable service; compatible with the COXREELS 1125WCL series stacking bracket for lead and ground cable combination setups.
Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician or industrial maintenance technician familiar with NEC requirements for motor-driven equipment. Disconnect and lock out all power sources before mounting or servicing the reel. Secure the reel to a structurally adequate surface using the mounting pattern located in the steel A-frame base. Verify that the 12-volt DC power supply and circuit protection are rated appropriately for the motor before energizing.
