The COXREELS 1125-4-450-ED is a heavy-duty motorized hose reel from the 1125 Series, designed for demanding industrial and trade applications. It accepts 1/2 inch ID, 7/8 inch OD hose up to 450 feet in length and is driven by a 12-volt DC, 1/2 HP explosion-proof reversible motor for powered retrieval. The one-piece all-welded 12-gauge steel A-frame base provides rigid structural support without bolted joints. A CPC powder coat finish delivers long-lasting chip resistance and corrosion inhibition. Licensed trades and industrial maintenance crews working in wash-down, fluid transfer, or hazardous-area environments are the primary installers and operators of this reel.
The 1125-4-450-ED is suited for commercial and industrial environments where large hose capacities and reliable motorized retraction are required. The explosion-proof motor rating makes it appropriate for use in areas where flammable vapors or gases may be present. Typical installations include fleet maintenance shops, refineries, manufacturing facilities, and heavy-duty service bays. The open drum slot and low-profile outlet riser allow hose to lay flat on the drum without crimping during retraction and storage.
Designed to accommodate 1/2 inch ID, 7/8 inch OD hose up to 450 feet. Part of the COXREELS 1125 Series of hand crank and motorized hose reels built for industrial trade use.
Installation should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with fluid handling equipment and low-voltage DC electrical connections. Disconnect and lock out all power and fluid supply lines before servicing the reel or swivel assembly. The base mounting pattern is located in the steel frame for straightforward attachment to a fixed surface. In hazardous-location installations, verify that all wiring and enclosures comply with applicable NEC classifications for the area rating.
