The COXREELS 1125-4-450-C is a heavy-duty hand crank hose reel from the 1125 Series, built for industrial and commercial service applications. It accepts hose with a 1/2 inch ID and 7/8 inch OD, and handles runs up to 450 feet. The one-piece all-welded steel A-frame base, CNC robotically spun ribbed discs, and permanently lubricated pillow block bearings combine to deliver a reel that holds up under continuous professional use. An adjustable tension brake prevents freewheeling, and the front bevel-geared crank makes manual retraction straightforward. Licensed contractors, maintenance crews, and field service technicians working in high-demand environments are the primary installers.
The 1125-4-450-C is suited for industrial fluid transfer, wash-down stations, lubrication service bays, and similar applications where long hose runs and reliable retraction are required. The low-profile outlet riser and open drum slot design promote a flat, non-crimping hose wrap, protecting hose integrity over repeated cycles. The reel is sold as a single unit and is appropriate for permanent wall, floor, or ceiling mounting in both indoor and outdoor service environments.
Designed for use with 1/2 inch ID hose up to 450 feet in length, consistent with standard NPT-connected fluid service applications across industrial, commercial, and contractor environments.
Installation is typically performed by qualified maintenance technicians or licensed contractors. Before mounting or connecting hose, shut off the fluid supply and relieve all line pressure. The mounting pattern is located in the steel base — verify that the mounting surface and fasteners are rated for the combined weight of the reel and fully loaded hose. Follow applicable OSHA and facility safety guidelines for pressurized fluid handling equipment.
