The CORBIN RUSSWIN CLX3357-NZD-BSP-CT6D-LFIC is a Grade 1 storeroom-function cylindrical lever lock designed for commercial and institutional door hardware applications. It features the Newport lever style and is finished in Black Suede Powder Coat (BSP, 622/US19). The lock is prepped for a Corbin Large Format Interchangeable Core (LFIC) with a 6-pin configuration and ships with a disposable plastic core installed, allowing the end user to install a permanent LFIC at a later time. The 2-3/4 inch backset and included ANSI strike plate (SA114) make this a complete, field-ready lockset assembly for qualified installation personnel.
This cylindrical lever lock is suited for commercial storeroom and closet applications where outside lever access requires a key at all times and the inside lever remains free for egress. The storeroom function is commonly specified in office buildings, healthcare facilities, schools, and retail environments where controlled access to storage areas is required. The LFIC prep allows facility managers or locksmiths to rekey the lock using a standard large-format interchangeable core without disassembling the lockset, making it compatible with master key system deployments.
Designed for use with Corbin Large Format Interchangeable Core (CL6) cylinders. Ships with a disposable plastic core installed as a temporary placeholder until a permanent LFIC is inserted. Consult door preparation specifications to confirm compatibility with existing door thickness and prep dimensions.
Installation should be performed by a licensed locksmith or qualified commercial door hardware technician familiar with cylindrical lockset installation and LFIC core systems. Ensure the door is properly prepped to the correct bore diameter and backset before installation. Verify that the handing of the lockset matches the door swing prior to mounting. All work should comply with applicable building codes and accessibility requirements, including ADA lever requirements where applicable.
