The COPPERFIT 3103 is a copper reducing tee fitting designed to split or combine flow in a plumbing line while transitioning between pipe sizes. The run measures 1 inch and both the branch and outlet measure 3/4 inch, making it a standard 1 x 3/4 x 3/4 reducing configuration. This sweat-style fitting is used in pressure water distribution systems and is installed by licensed plumbers and qualified pipefitters. It is suited for potable water, hydronic heating, and light commercial plumbing applications where a size reduction is needed at a branch point.
This reducing tee fits into residential and light commercial plumbing systems wherever a 1-inch main line feeds a 3/4-inch branch and a 3/4-inch continuation. Typical install scenarios include domestic hot and cold water distribution headers, baseboard hydronic loops, and in-wall rough-in work. The 1 x 3/4 x 3/4 configuration is one of the most common reducing tee sizes used in residential new construction and remodel plumbing.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and new-installation fitting for 1-inch by 3/4-inch copper pipe systems in residential and light commercial plumbing.
Installation is performed by a licensed plumber following IPC or applicable local plumbing code requirements. Shut off the water supply and fully depressurize and drain the line before cutting or fitting. Clean and flux all mating pipe ends before soldering, and use only lead-free solder approved for potable water systems where required by code. Allow solder joints to cool completely before restoring system pressure.
