The COPPER 611RR 1X3/4X1 is a solder-joint reducing tee fitting designed for copper piping systems in both residential and industrial plumbing applications. Manufactured from copper and conforming to ASME/ANSI B16.22 and MSS SP104 standards, this 111R Series tee connects a 1-inch run with a 3/4-inch branch outlet using a sweat (C x C x C) joint configuration. It is rated for service temperatures from -20 to 100 degrees F. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters install this fitting during new construction and retrofit work where a branch takeoff with a reduced outlet is required on a copper distribution line.
This reducing tee is suited for residential water distribution, hydronic heating piping, and light industrial process piping where copper is the specified material. The C x C x C end connections accept standard copper tubing and are soldered using common lead-free solder per applicable plumbing codes. Over half of the copper used in manufacturing this fitting comes from recycled sources, and production meets environmentally responsible standards consistent with the copper fittings industry. The fitting is domestic in origin.
Designed as an OEM-style copper sweat fitting compatible with standard copper tubing in residential and industrial piping systems per ASME/ANSI B16.22 and MSS SP104 specifications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with the International Plumbing Code (IPC) and applicable local codes. Shut off and depressurize the water supply and drain the line before cutting or soldering. Clean all mating surfaces with emery cloth and apply flux before soldering with approved lead-free solder. Allow the joint to cool fully before restoring system pressure and inspecting for leaks.
