It is built for use in 2-inch x 6-inch framing and includes an integral thermal protector for added safety. The housing ships with pre-installed nailless captive bar hangers that span up to 24 inches and fit T-bar spline systems. Hangers reposition to 90 degrees without tools, which speeds up rough-in on framing crews. Junction box is listed for through circuit wiring. Rated for damp locations and carries UL and CSA listings.
