The COOPER LIGHTING CX62 is a dual-face LED illuminated exit sign designed for permanent installation in commercial and institutional buildings. It operates on 120/277 VAC dual voltage, drawing 0.98 to 1.04 watts per face, making it highly energy-efficient compared to legacy incandescent exit signs. The housing is constructed from aluminum with a black finish. A built-in nickel cadmium (NiCd) battery provides emergency backup power, keeping the sign illuminated during a power outage. Red LED lettering delivers high visibility. Licensed electricians and life-safety contractors are the typical installers for this type of unit.

The CX62 is suited for surface-mount installation in corridors, stairwells, lobbies, and other egress paths in commercial, industrial, and institutional occupancies. The dual-face configuration allows the sign to be read from two directions simultaneously, making it appropriate for suspended or wall-end mounting where bidirectional egress visibility is required.
