The COOPER LIGHTING APCH7G is a dual-head LED combination exit sign designed for ceiling, end, or wall mounting in commercial and industrial life-safety applications. The unit features a thermoplastic housing in white and ships with a snap-fit canopy for simplified installation. It operates on 120/277 volts and is backed by a sealed nickel cadmium (NiCd) battery for emergency backup. The housing measures 2-5/16 inches wide, 8-1/4 inches high, and 16-9/16 inches long, keeping the profile compact enough for corridor and stairwell installations. Licensed electricians and life-safety contractors are the primary installers for this type of fixture.
The APCH7G is suited for commercial buildings, schools, healthcare facilities, and industrial occupancies where NEC, NFPA 101, and OSHA egress-lighting requirements must be met. It supports single-face or dual-face configurations, giving installers flexibility to direct exit lettering toward one or both directions from a single mounting point. The two emergency heads provide supplemental illumination along the egress path during power loss, making this a combination exit-plus-emergency unit in one housing. It functions within an operating temperature range of 50 degrees F to 104 degrees F.
Designed as an OEM-style combination exit and emergency sign for commercial egress applications requiring UL 924-listed fixtures with multi-mounting capability.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with NEC Article 700 and local authority having jurisdiction requirements. Shut off branch-circuit power at the panel before wiring the unit. The snap-fit canopy is included and supports ceiling, end, and wall mounting positions. Do not attempt to substitute the sealed NiCd battery pack with an incompatible battery chemistry or capacity.
