The COOPER BUSSMANN LP-CC-25 is a Class CC time delay cartridge fuse rated at 25 amps, designed for general-purpose overcurrent protection in industrial control panels, motor branch circuits, and low-voltage distribution equipment. Built with a dual-element construction, it provides reliable time delay characteristics that allow temporary inrush currents to pass without nuisance tripping while still protecting downstream components from sustained overloads and short-circuit faults. The fuse body measures 1.5 inches in length and 10.3 mm in diameter, fitting standard CC-class fuse holders. It carries a 200 kA interrupt rating at AC (RMS) and 20 kA at DC, making it suitable for high-fault-current environments.
This fuse is used in residential and commercial electrical systems where Class CC fuse holders are specified. Typical applications include motor control centers, combination motor starters, control transformers, and panel feeders. Electricians and industrial maintenance technicians install these fuses during new panel builds, equipment retrofits, and preventive maintenance service calls. The compact cartridge form factor fits Class CC fuse blocks and holders commonly found in IEC and NEMA-style enclosures.
Designed for use with standard Class CC fuse holders and fuse blocks. The Class CC form factor is a recognized industry standard, so this fuse fits any holder rated for CC cartridge fuses of the same ampere and voltage class.
Installation must be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and any applicable local codes. Always de-energize and lock out the circuit before removing or installing fuses. Use an insulated fuse puller rated for the application when removing fuses from energized-adjacent equipment. Verify the fuse holder is rated for the circuit voltage and interrupt capacity before installing.
