The COOPER BUSSMANN FNQ-1/2 is a cartridge-style time delay fuse rated at 0.5 amps and 500 volts, with a 10 kA interrupting rating at AC. It is designed for general-purpose overcurrent protection in low-amperage branch circuits and control circuits. The fiber body construction measures 1.5 inches in length and 10.3 mm in diameter, fitting standard fuse holders used across residential, commercial, and light industrial electrical systems. Licensed electricians install this fuse to protect sensitive equipment and control wiring where nuisance tripping from inrush current is a concern. The time delay characteristic allows momentary overloads to pass without opening the circuit.
This fuse is suited for use in control panels, motor control circuits, and low-current branch circuits where a time delay response is required.
