The COOPER BUSSMANN ATM-30 is a fast-acting mini blade automotive fuse rated at 30 amps and 32 volts DC. It is designed to protect low-voltage automotive and control circuits from overcurrent conditions by opening the circuit rapidly when current exceeds the rated amperage. The ATM-30 measures 0.43 inches in length and features a green housing for quick amperage identification at a glance. Silver-plated terminals and a zinc element provide reliable conductivity and consistent performance in demanding mobile and automotive environments. Licensed electricians, automotive technicians, and equipment service pros install this fuse type in fuse blocks, relay panels, and inline fuse holders.
The ATM-30 is suited for residential, commercial, and industrial applications wherever mini blade fuse protection is required. Typical uses include automotive electrical systems, low-voltage control circuits, powersports equipment, marine accessories, and aftermarket vehicle wiring harnesses. The fast-acting response characteristic makes it appropriate for circuits requiring immediate overcurrent protection without intentional time delay. The polyamide housing withstands standard underhood and panel environments. This fuse is sold individually but must be ordered in multiples of 5.
The ATM-30 is a direct replacement for Littelfuse MIN030 and Ferraz Shawmut AF2-30. It fits any standard mini blade (ATM-style) fuse holder or fuse block designed for the ATM series form factor.
Always disconnect the vehicle battery or de-energize the control circuit before replacing a fuse. Confirm the replacement fuse amperage matches the circuit protection requirement exactly — never substitute a higher-amperage fuse to resolve a blown fuse condition without first diagnosing the root cause. Use a fuse puller tool when removing mini blade fuses from tight fuse blocks to avoid terminal damage. Installation should comply with applicable SAE and OEM wiring standards for the equipment being serviced.
