The CONTROL ID IDUHF-LT is a compact UHF long-range RFID reader designed for access control and identification applications. Operating in the UHF radio frequency band, it reads passive RFID credentials at extended distances, reducing the need for close-proximity card presentation. Its compact form factor makes it suitable for installations where space is limited or a low-profile device is required. Licensed security and access control technicians are the typical installers for this type of reader in commercial and light industrial environments.
The IDUHF-LT fits access control deployments that require long-range credential reads, such as vehicle entry lanes, parking access points, pedestrian gates, and secured facility entrances. Its compact housing allows mounting in locations where a full-size reader would not be practical. It is sold as a single unit and is suited for both new installations and retrofit projects upgrading existing short-range reader infrastructure.
Designed as an OEM-style UHF long-range reader for integration with access control systems that support standard UHF RFID reader interfaces.
Installation should be performed by a licensed access control or low-voltage technician in accordance with applicable local codes and NEC guidelines for low-voltage wiring. Power down the access control panel before wiring the reader to avoid damage to the controller or the reader itself. Follow the manufacturer data sheet for interface wiring, as reader communication protocols and connector pinouts vary by model. Do not expose the reader to voltages outside its rated input range.
