The CONTINENTAL CONTITECH PLR03830-03-13 is a multipurpose PVC air hose rated for 300 psi working pressure and designed for use in a wide range of pneumatic service applications. Built with a 3/8-inch inside diameter and a 3-foot length, this hose delivers adequate flow capacity for air tools, compressors, and shop equipment. The red PVC construction keeps it visible on the job site and holds up across a service temperature range of -10 to 158 degrees F. Male NPT fittings on both ends in a 1/4-inch size allow for direct connection to standard pneumatic couplers and fittings without adapters. HVAC technicians, plumbers, electricians, and general trade professionals keep this style of hose on hand for routine air service tasks.
This hose is suited for light-duty to medium-duty compressed air use in both residential and commercial settings. The 3-foot length makes it practical as a whip hose or extension at a compressor outlet, or for short-run connections between an air source and a tool. The MNPT x MNPT end configuration is compatible with standard shop-thread pneumatic fittings common across most trade environments. The compact size and low weight make it easy to carry in a service bag or vehicle tool kit.
Designed as a general-purpose replacement or add-on air hose compatible with standard 1/4-inch NPT pneumatic fittings found on compressors, air tools, and shop equipment across residential and commercial trade applications.
Depressurize the air supply and bleed residual pressure from the line before connecting or disconnecting this hose. Hand-tighten MNPT fittings first, then use a wrench to achieve a secure, leak-free connection — do not overtighten PVC-body fittings. Inspect the hose and fittings for cracks, wear, or leaks before each use, and do not exceed the rated 300 psi working pressure. Installation and service of compressed air systems should follow applicable OSHA and local safety codes.
