The CONTINENTAL CONTITECH PLB03830-05-13 is a multipurpose PVC air hose rated for 300 psi working pressure and designed for general-purpose pneumatic service in shop, field, and light industrial environments. The hose measures 3/8 inch inside diameter and 5 feet in length, with 1/4 inch male NPT fittings on both ends for direct connection to air tools, compressors, and pneumatic systems. The PVC construction keeps weight down while maintaining flexibility across a temperature range of -10 degrees F to 158 degrees F. Plumbers, HVAC technicians, electricians, and general tradespeople reach for this hose when a compact, ready-to-use air whip is needed at the work area.
This hose is suited for residential and light commercial jobsite use where a short, manageable air supply line is preferred. Common applications include connecting a pneumatic nailer, blow gun, or impact wrench to a nearby air outlet or quick-connect fitting. The 5-foot length makes it practical as a drop hose or extension whip off a longer main supply line. The blue PVC jacket is easy to identify on a crowded jobsite, and the pre-installed MNPT fittings allow immediate use without additional assembly.
Designed as a general-purpose air hose compatible with standard 1/4 inch NPT pneumatic fittings, air tools, and compressor outlets commonly found in residential and light commercial trade applications.
Depressurize the air supply line completely before connecting or disconnecting this hose. Hand-tighten the MNPT fittings to the receiving ports and apply thread sealant tape as appropriate before final snugging with a wrench to prevent leaks. Do not exceed the rated 300 psi working pressure, and inspect the hose and fittings for wear or damage before each use. Refer to applicable OSHA and local codes governing compressed air systems when installing in a permanent or semi-permanent configuration.
