The CONTINENTAL CONTITECH HZR05030-50-31 is a multipurpose air hose built for demanding service environments where reliability under pressure and temperature extremes matters. Constructed from EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer), this hose delivers a working pressure of 300 psi across a temperature range of -40 to 190 degrees F. With a 1/2 inch inside diameter and 27/32 inch outside diameter, it moves adequate air volume for common pneumatic tools and equipment. The 50 foot length and MNPT x FNPT swivel end connections make it ready for use with standard fittings right out of the package. It is well suited for use by HVAC technicians, plumbers, general contractors, and industrial maintenance crews.
This hose is designed for general-purpose compressed air service in both shop and field settings. The EPDM construction resists weathering, ozone, and temperature cycling, making it a practical choice for outdoor or uncontrolled environment applications. The 1/2 inch fitting size is compatible with widely used pneumatic tool fittings and air supply connections. The swivel FNPT end allows for easy connection without twisting the hose body during hookup. Typical applications include powering impact wrenches, air ratchets, nail guns, blow guns, and similar pneumatic equipment on job sites or in service vehicles.
Designed for use with standard 1/2 inch NPT pneumatic fittings and compressed air supply systems commonly found in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general construction service applications.
Shut off and depressurize the air supply before connecting or disconnecting this hose. Inspect fittings and the hose body for damage before pressurizing. Use appropriate thread sealant on MNPT connections and ensure the FNPT swivel end is fully engaged before opening the air supply. Do not exceed the rated working pressure of 300 psi.
