The CONTINENTAL CONTITECH HZR03830-10-31 is a multipurpose air hose built for demanding pneumatic applications in the field and shop. Constructed from EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer), it delivers a 300 psi working pressure rating and handles a temperature range of -40 degrees F to 190 degrees F. The hose measures 3/8 inches inside diameter and 23/32 inches outside diameter at 10 feet in length, with MNPT x FNPT swivel end connections for easy attachment and rotation without kinking. HVAC techs, plumbers, and general contractors reach for this hose when running pneumatic tools, blow-off guns, or inflation equipment across a wide range of job site conditions.
This hose is suited for residential and light commercial job sites where a compact, flexible air delivery line is needed. The 10-foot length works well as a drop hose from a reel or as a direct connection from a portable compressor to a pneumatic tool. The MNPT x FNPT swivel configuration allows one fixed male end to thread into a compressor outlet or manifold while the female swivel end connects to a tool without torquing the line. The red color provides quick visual identification on busy job sites. EPDM construction resists weathering, ozone, and a broad chemical exposure range, making it appropriate for both indoor and outdoor use across seasons.
Designed as a general-purpose compressed air hose compatible with standard 3/8 inch NPT pneumatic fittings and compressor outlets commonly found on portable and stationary air compressors used in HVAC, plumbing, and general construction trades.
Installation should be performed by a qualified technician following applicable compressed air system safety practices. Depressurize the air supply line fully before connecting or disconnecting the hose. Inspect fittings and the hose body for damage before each use, and do not exceed the rated 300 psi working pressure. Thread connections should be hand-tightened and then snugged with a wrench — do not overtighten NPT threads, as this can crack fittings or damage the swivel assembly.
