The CONTINENTAL CONTITECH HZR02530-25-31 is a multipurpose air hose built for compressed air delivery in light industrial, mechanical, and trade service applications. The hose features a 1/4 inch inside diameter and 9/16 inch outside diameter, with a 25-foot working length that suits most mobile service setups and fixed compressor stations. Constructed from EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer), it handles a rated working pressure of 300 psi and an operating temperature range of -40 degrees F to 190 degrees F. End connections are 1/4 inch MNPT x FNPT swivel, allowing straightforward attachment to standard air fittings without binding. HVAC techs, plumbers, and general contractors are the primary installers.
This hose is suited for residential and light commercial service environments where a reliable, flexible air supply line is needed at the compressor, service cart, or pneumatic tool station. The 25-foot length covers most single-zone service areas without the need for extensions. The EPDM construction resists ozone, weathering, and elevated heat, making it appropriate for both indoor mechanical rooms and outdoor service conditions. The red jacket aids visibility on busy job sites. MNPT x FNPT swivel ends simplify connection to standard 1/4 inch air fittings found on most portable and stationary compressors.
Designed as a direct-fit replacement or addition for compressed air systems using standard 1/4 inch NPT fittings, typical of portable and stationary air compressors found in HVAC, plumbing, and general trade service applications.
Depressurize and bleed down the air supply line fully before disconnecting or installing this hose. Verify that the compressor outlet and tool inlet fittings are 1/4 inch NPT before threading the swivel ends — cross-threading NPT fittings can damage sealing surfaces. Hand-tighten swivel fittings first, then snug with a wrench; do not overtighten, as FNPT swivel seats can crack under excess torque. Inspect the hose for cuts, abrasion, or kinking before each use and replace if the jacket or couplings show visible damage.
