The CONTINENTAL CONTITECH 20042028 is a Section A classical V-belt designed for industrial and mechanical drive applications. Built from Wingprene rubber-impregnated fabric, this belt delivers reliable power transmission in systems where heat resistance and oil resistance are required. It carries an outside length of 112.2 inches and an internal length of 111.30 inches, conforming to the HY-T Matchmaker profile. The belt is rated for a maximum working temperature of 140 degrees C and a minimum working temperature of -40 degrees C, making it suitable for demanding operating environments. Licensed HVAC technicians, mechanical contractors, and equipment service professionals typically install this belt in belt-driven fan, blower, and compressor assemblies.
This V-belt is suited for use in commercial and industrial equipment where Section A drive belts are specified. Common applications include belt-driven HVAC air handlers, cooling tower fans, agricultural machinery, industrial blowers, and general-purpose power transmission drives. It meets DIN 2215 and DIN 7753 standards, making it appropriate for use where European drive standards are referenced. The belt number A110 identifies it within the classical A-section belt family and aids in cross-referencing with OEM drive specifications.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement Section A V-belt for industrial and commercial belt-drive systems specifying an A110 or equivalent classical A-section belt with a 112.2-inch outside length.
Belt-driven equipment must be fully de-energized and locked out before replacing any drive belt. A qualified mechanic or HVAC technician should release drive tension using the appropriate adjustment hardware before removing the worn belt and seating the replacement. Avoid prying the belt onto sheaves, as this can damage the belt cords. After installation, adjust tension to the drive manufacturer's specification and inspect pulley alignment before returning the system to service.
