The CONTINENTAL CONTITECH 20039641 is a cogged V-belt in the BX section, designed for industrial and HVAC drive applications where heat buildup and slippage are common failure points. Built with Fiber Reinforced Vytracord construction, this belt delivers high tensile strength and dimensional stability under load. It carries the belt designation BX210 and features an outside length of 213 inches with a 211.80-inch internal length. The cogged underside reduces bending resistance, allowing the belt to run cooler and flex more efficiently around smaller sheaves. This belt is oil resistant and rated for a working temperature range of -40 degrees C to 60 degrees C.
This BX-section cogged belt is suited for HVAC air handlers, blower drive systems, compressors, agricultural equipment, and general industrial machinery where standard raw-edge or wrapped belts are being replaced or upgraded. The BX section is a common drive belt profile found in both commercial and residential mechanical systems. Installers and maintenance techs working on belt-drive fan assemblies, pump drives, or multi-belt sheave setups will recognize the BX210 designation as a widely used replacement size. The oil-resistant formulation makes it appropriate for environments where minor lubricant exposure is a concern.

Belt drive service should be performed by qualified HVAC technicians or mechanical maintenance personnel with the drive system fully de-energized and locked out before removal or installation. Inspect sheaves for wear, misalignment, and proper groove profile before installing a new belt. Set belt tension according to the equipment manufacturer specifications using a tension gauge rather than deflection estimates. Never use belt dressing compounds on Vytracord or cogged belts, as these can degrade the compound and reduce belt life.
