The CONTINENTAL CONTITECH 20027120 is a Grade R twin welding hose designed for low-pressure fuel gas and oxygen delivery in welding and cutting applications. It carries a 200 psi working pressure rating and features a 3/16 inch inside diameter with a 7/16 inch outside diameter. The twin-line construction keeps the oxygen and fuel gas hoses bonded side by side for organized routing and reduced tangling at the work station. This hose meets ARPM IP-7 standards and is rated for service from -40 degrees F up to 120 degrees F, making it suitable for both indoor shop use and outdoor field work. Welders, pipefitters, and HVAC technicians who perform brazing or cutting regularly rely on this type of hose for reliable gas delivery.
This hose is sold by the foot in a minimum cut length of 25 feet, drawn from a 500-foot coil. It is suited for residential and commercial welding and cutting setups where a Grade R twin hose is specified. Typical applications include oxy-acetylene cutting rigs, torch brazing stations, and portable welding outfits used in mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC service work. The twin configuration is the standard format for most torch outfits in the trade.
Designed as a standard Grade R twin welding hose replacement suitable for oxy-fuel torch outfits and cutting rigs that require a 3/16 inch ID twin hose with standard hose fittings.
Installation and replacement of welding hose should be performed by a qualified welder or gas systems technician familiar with oxy-fuel equipment. Shut off all cylinder valves and bleed residual pressure from the existing hose before disconnecting any fittings. Inspect all connections for leaks using an approved leak-detection solution before returning the torch outfit to service. Follow applicable OSHA, NFPA 51, and equipment manufacturer guidelines for hose assembly and safe gas handling.
