The CONTINENTAL CONTITECH 20013341 is a clear PVC food and beverage transfer hose designed for sanitary fluid-handling applications in food processing, brewing, dairy, and beverage dispensing environments. With a 2-inch inside diameter and a 2.43-inch outside diameter, it handles a maximum working pressure of 40 psi and a vacuum rating of 29 inHg, making it suitable for both pressure and suction service. The clear construction allows visual monitoring of flow. This hose meets 3A, FDA, and NSF-61 standards, making it appropriate for direct-contact food and beverage use. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and food equipment installers typically work with this product in regulated processing facilities.
This hose is well suited for residential and commercial food service installations, as well as light industrial food and beverage processing lines. Typical applications include breweries, wineries, bottling operations, dairy transfer lines, and sanitary water systems. The flexible PVC construction accommodates routing around equipment with a minimum bend radius of 4 inches. The hose is sold from a 100-foot coil in 1-foot increments with a 25-foot minimum cut length, allowing the installer to order the exact footage needed for a given run.
Designed as a sanitary-grade flexible transfer hose for food, beverage, dairy, and potable water systems requiring 3A, FDA, and NSF-61 compliant hose assemblies with a 2-inch inside diameter.
Installation is typically performed by licensed pipefitters, plumbers, or qualified food equipment technicians familiar with sanitary hose assembly practices. Shut off all fluid flow and depressurize the line before cutting or connecting hose sections. Ensure fittings are compatible with the 2-inch inside diameter and rated for the system pressure before assembly. Follow applicable sanitary plumbing codes and NSF-61 installation requirements for food-contact piping systems.
